About this research fellowship
GovAI's summer fellows spend three months in London either researching an AI governance question of their choice with a supervisor (Research Track) or working on projects pitched by GovAI and partner organisations (Applied Track). Both tracks include expert Q&As, weekly seminars, skills workshops and networking. The fellowship is full time and in person, and pays £14,000. Applications go through GovAI's Airtable form and close at 23:59 UK time on 22 November 2026.
