About this research fellowship
Short-Term Fellows spend one or two months at the Newberry investigating specific collection items that are essential to their research, and join its scholarly community while there. The stipend is US$3,000 a month, and most fellowships provide one month. Awardees are matched to named fellowships, including ones for Indigenous scholars, so you don't need to pick one when you apply.
