About this fellowship
The Equality Fund's first journalism fellowship backs reporters telling stories from their own communities in ODA-recipient countries, in any format from written features to audio and video, as long as it's fact-checked reporting. Shortlisted applicants need a letter from an outlet interested in publishing the work. Fellows keep editorial independence and their rights to the work. Applications close at 11pm Eastern time on 8 November 2026.
