About this award

The Stringer Foundation, a US non-profit, funds journalists and creative practitioners who expose injustice, often at personal risk, in response to falling pay and support for freelance reporting. Awards are multi-year and unrestricted, and their size depends on the money raised. The application form takes about 15 to 20 minutes and can be answered in your own language.
