LanguageLine Solutions takes applications from freelance translators in any language pair and contacts people whose languages match current or upcoming demand. If you're a match, you take a short translation test before joining its freelancer network. Work is paid per project, with rates and payment terms set out during onboarding, and the page is clear that there's no guaranteed volume. It's remote, and CAT tool experience helps but isn't required.
