About this opportunity
Newsweek is hiring a senior editor to run its US news desk during peak hours and make the final calls on framing and priority. The role is hands-on: rewriting leads and structure, turning raw reporting into finished stories, and reporting yourself when breaking news needs it. Hours are 10am to 7pm Eastern, five days a week, with a rotating weekend shift. It asks for seven to ten or more years at a major US digital newsroom.
