About this postdoctoral fellowship
LexicAI, funded through CHIST-ERA's "Science in Your Own Language" programme, is developing multilingual, multimodal machine translation for documents about AI, in both well-resourced and low-resource languages, with the University of Liverpool and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. The Warsaw linguistics team, led by Professor Łucja Biel, builds an AI terminology database and translation resources, then fine-tunes and tests the model and publishes the results. You apply by email to sekretariat.ils@uw.edu.pl with "LexicAI post-doc" in the subject, in Polish or English; the result is due by 7 December 2026. The full announcement is in Polish.
