About this grant
Funded jointly by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and UK universities, these scholarships pay for a Master's course with a clear development focus, starting in September or October 2027. You apply through the CSC's online system to approved courses at participating universities, and you must also apply to the university itself. Universities nominate candidates in the spring. Applications open on 10 November 2026 and close at 16:00 GMT on 8 December 2026.
