About this opportunity
The Wikimedia Foundation's Community Resources team funds the affiliates and volunteers behind Wikipedia and its sister projects. This senior programme officer runs the regional grants serving Wikimedian communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, part of the Foundation's push to reach communities that have been left out. The role is remote but you must be based in one of its Sub-Saharan hiring countries. A pay range is published only for US-based applicants.
